About Us
Nightbird was founded in 2025 by Madison DeCook, a lifetime car enthusiast who grew up with coloring books of classic European sport models and building models with her dad. From running the front desk at JDM shops, to test driving prototypes for major manufacturers, Madison just plain loves to drive, and loves to make run down cars look their best. She'd sneak in final cleans for prototypes at the end of their runs, and made habits of purging years of filth from farm trucks where she kept her horses. Detailing became her hyper-fixation that has endured the years and while working in dealerships, the draw of being more involved in the action (and the itch to clean those trade-ins) was just too strong, so Nightbird unfurled it's wings.
Vision
As she spent late night hours behind the wheel as a test driver, Madison built a vision of a car community as well as a business to fuel her love of the crusty old cars that just wouldn't quit. Nightbird embodied her habits of watching the sunset and cleaning cars with good friends, then haunting the streets after dark. The primary goal? Get every last bit of joy out of your car, whether it's fun and crusty, looking for a new owner, or worth a couple decades of saving paychecks. Enjoy your car and the memories you've made with it, either with a fine-tune detail, a final photoshoot to remember it by, or a community of folks who just love a good night cruise.
